This International Women’s Month, we’re proud to celebrate the incredible women leading the way in the woods—here at Lomakatsi and across the many partner organizations we work alongside.
From ecological forestry to prescribed fire, trail work to aquatic habitat restoration, these women are shaping healthier forests and stronger communities every day. Their skill, resilience, and leadership continue to inspire the next generation of land stewards to step forward with confidence and purpose.
We honor these women for their dedication, passion for the land, and the vital role they serve in restoring balance to our ecosystems. Thank you for all that you do—your work truly makes a difference.
Here’s to women in the woods, today and every day.
