Grants & Contracts Administrator
As Grants & Contracts Administrator, Jacquelyn Robinson administrates the onboarding, monitoring, reporting, and invoicing of grants and contracts, and guides project managers on budgets and accounting, ensuring expenses align with deliverables and the completion of final reports.
Jacquelyn hails from the village of Sipaulovi in Second Mesa, Arizona, and is a member of The Hopi Tribe water clan. Throughout her upbringing and career, Jacquelyn has gravitated toward projects focused on environmental work and water conservation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Northern Arizona University, completed 15 hours toward an MBA and is now enrolled in the Accounting Certificate Program at Southern Oregon University. Jacquelyn joined the Lomakatsi team in May 2022 with a background as an independent contractor and in work with nonprofits, county economic development, accounting, business development, renewable energy planning, including work with various Tribal organizations. As an economic development specialist in Humboldt County, she completed an intensive leadership training program with the Cascadia School for Leadership.
In her role with Lomakatsi, she ensures fulfillment of contract obligations, and proper and efficient grant management within federal guidelines and accounting principles — finding the balance between an inflow and outflow of financial data that directs the organization’s ability to survive and thrive. By supporting project managers, she helps teams to better understand their financial position and spend appropriately on a timeline. At Lomakatsi, she most values the people who form a committed team, and a dedication to this work in service of generations ahead. Outside of work, Jacquelyn enjoys swimming in the Salmon River, playing sports, and supporting her children in sports activities.
