West Bear All-Lands Restoration Project – Near Holton Rd, Talent
Lomakatsi has received clearance from Oregon Department of Forestry to conduct controlled pile burning on private land near Holton Rd outside Talent, OR. Up to 30 acres will be completed today.
This effort is within the West Bear All-Lands Restoration Project, a project of Rogue Forest Partners, to reduce the risk of severe wildfire to communities and ecosystems in the wildland urban interface west of Bear Creek and the I-5 corridor, from Talent to Jacksonville.
