Virginia Amoroso – Tribal Partnership Associate
As Lomakatsi’s Tribal Partnership Associate, Virginia Amoroso plays a critical role in the development and delivery of our Tribal Partnerships Program. She also serves on the Lomakatsi Tribal Advisory Committee and works as a Tribal Youth Workforce Manager and Cultural Practitioner. Virginia is an enrolled member and Elected Cultural Representative of the Ajumawi Band of the Ajumawi-Atsuge Nation (Pit River Tribe). She has spent the last thirty years working in her ancestral homelands that include Modoc, Lassen, Shasta and Siskiyou Counties.
With her background in Natural Resources, and Health and Human Services, combined with her expertise in the local Native American Traditional Ecological Knowledge of her people, Virginia brings important cultural agility expertise and tribal leadership experience to Lomakatsi’s Tribal Partnerships Program.
