Thank you to The Klamath Tribes Chairman Dumont and members of the Tribal Council for hosting us today and offering words of encouragement! At the meeting, Lomakatsi leadership and participants in Lomakatsi’s Tribal Youth Ecological Forestry Training Program shared about their experiences over the past 18 weeks, earning profession certifications and gaining hands on experience in ecological restoration and community wildfire protection. We’re grateful to The Klamath Tribes for their longstanding partnership and support of this program. We’re proud of all the trainees for making it through to completion!
