Sequoia manages Lomakatsi’s youth programs and training initiatives, working closely with leadership and operations to provide ecological workforce training and educational experiences to inspire youth and adults to seek out careers in natural resources.

As Executive Director and Lomakatsi’s Founder, Marko works in a variety of capacities, overseeing all aspects of planning, development, and operations for the organization’s programs and projects.
Belinda Brown
Tribal Partnerships Director
Belinda works as a community liaison, engaging with tribal elders, tribal councils, cultural resource monitors and tribal department staff.
Allayana Darrow
Communications Associate
Allayana works with the communications team to document and spread awareness of Lomakatsi’s work in the forests and watersheds of Oregon and northern California, improving community understanding of our interconnectedness with the landscapes we call home.
Jamie Engle
Operations Director
Jamie assists the leadership team in the successful growth of the organization, and provides leadership, management, and vision to ensure proper administrative, human resources, and reporting procedures.
Tom Greco
Communications Director
Tom works with our communications team to raise Lomakatsi’s visibility and spread awareness of the important work we do on behalf of nature and communities throughout Oregon and northern California.
Martha Valle Hernandez
Promotora
Martha brings over a decade of experience as a community health worker to Lomakatsi’s Promotora Program, where she continues to provide occupational health and safety trainings to Southern Oregon forest workers.
Sylvia Holmes
DEI & Human Resources Projects Manager
As the DEI & Human Resources Projects Manager, Sylvia spends her days building systems and processes while assisting the Lomakatsi team with various exciting administrative tasks.
Shane Jimerfield
Program Director
The Program Director serves in coordination with Lomakatsi’s team of directors to develop and implement programs and services.
Thomas Manaois
Staff Accountant
Thomas creates and maintains financial transaction records, processes monthly reconciliation and payroll, deductions and tax deposits, and performs other finance and administrative duties as needed.
Leah Parazoo
Tribal Client Advocate
Leah engages with tribal communities and youth in the Klamath Basin to implement training opportunities, wraparound services, monitoring and fieldwork, and promote the healing and restoration of the land.
Sonya Prislac
Accounting Associate
Sonya helps our finance team with all aspects of bookkeeping and assists with day to day operations including payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
Raúl Reyes
Forest Worker Advocate
Raúl works closely with Lomakatsi’s Promotora Program team to help improve working conditions and awareness of workers’ rights for forest workers throughout the Rogue Valley.
Susan Wing-Hegstad
Senior Accountant
As Lomakatsi’s Senior Accountant, Susan draws on her extensive knowledge of fund, non-profit, and governmental accounting to support and advance all finance team functions including budgeting, expense and revenue tracking, reporting, compliance, and audit preparation.
