Dylan Rodvik

Restoration Forestry Technician

As Restoration Forestry Technician, Dylan Rodvik works with our technician team to collect the data on forest composition and health used by our professional staff to create prescriptions for restoration work and forest management plans, and performs ongoing data collection to quantify landscape response to treatments over time.

Raised amid the recreation opportunities of the North Cascades region of Washington state, Dylan obtained a bachelor of Applied Science degree in Forestry from Green River College. The majority of his academic study and experience focused on wetland restoration, botany surveys and land management.

Dylan brings a background as a biological science technician and resource assistant for the U.S. Forest Service, environmental technician and crew lead for West Fork Environmental Inc., environmental technician for Green River College and forestry technician for USFS.

Since joining the Lomakatsi team in February 2022, Dylan’s favorite part of the job is identifying rare wildflowers and plants, and learning about regional differences in ecosystems and fire regimes that direct restoration work. In his free time, he visits the climbing gym and explores the public lands of the Rogue Valley.
