Elias joined the Lomakatsi team in 2003 and became a qualified Fire Fighter Type 2. Prior to working for Lomakatsi, Elias worked for forestry service providers for a decade, working across the West. As a skilled restoration forest worker, trained burn technician, and lead sawyer, his favorite part of the job is conducting ecological thinning in dense forests to benefit entire communities on a larger scale. Outside of work, he enjoys being outdoors, fishing, and hunting. After 20 years with Lomakatsi, Elias loves the job, the company, and the team of people he works with.
