Equipment/Maintenance Technician

As Equipment/Maintenance Technician, Francisco ensures the safe and efficient operations of Lomakatsi’s tools, equipment, and facilities, and supports crew transportation and maintenance of over 30 vehicles. Francisco joined the Lomakatsi team in April 2016 as a sawyer and Wildland Fire Fighter, also supporting our Job Training, Education and Resource Protection program that focuses on recreation infrastructure maintenance. He became Equipment/Maintenance Technician in January 2025. Francisco enjoyed falling trees as a sawyer, and now values his role fixing and maintaining the equipment used by restoration crews daily.
