Tom Greco

Communications Director

As Communications Director, Tom Greco works with our communications team to raise Lomakatsi’s visibility and spread awareness of the important work we do on behalf of nature and communities throughout Oregon and northern California.

Tom brings over a decade of experience in nonprofit communications and is versed in communications strategy, messaging, website and newsletter production, and social media best practices. Prior to Lomakatsi, he served as Communications Manager for Pepperwood Foundation, an ecology institute and 3,200 acre preserve in Santa Rosa, California, where he designed and implemented a comprehensive outreach program. In addition to his communications work, Tom also has a wide range of nonprofit experience ranging from IT administration and guiding organizational transitions to new technologies, to grant writing and program budgeting.

Prior to Pepperwood, Tom began honing his craft in Boston where he worked in digital communications, video production, and marketing. Tom holds a BA in Communications from Boston College with minors in Middle Eastern & Islamic Studies and History. He is also a certified UC California Naturalist.

An east coast native, Tom developed a deep appreciation for nature exploring the White Mountains of New Hampshire. He is grateful to be part of the Lomakatsi team and enjoys discovering the natural treasures of the Klamath-Siskiyou area with his wife and two children.
